I wanted to do speed work but it's been snowing all day and the roads and trails are not amenable to running fast.  Durring January our gym at work is open to non-members, so I took advantage and ran on a dreadmill today.

I'm still not feeling 100%.  I'm getting sick and tired of feeling a bit sick and tired.  Not terrible, but not great.

Fly - that looks like a great run. I am glad you decided on the treadmill it is much safer!

Fly...

Wow, those are some incredibly fast times. I know I say that all the time, but it's really impressive. I, too, Am sick and tired of being sick and tired. My sinuses throb every time I bend over.

Fly, how perfect is that? You got to use the gym for free, run an awesome speed interval workout, thus avoiding that nasty road. You're a SMART and LUCKY and VERY SPEEDY GUY!!!

Everyone's getting the gamboo these days. It doesn't help with all that hard training you're doing either. Take it easy the next few days and I'll bet you'll be on top of the game again.

Yeah the treadmill is dreadful but much safer. I'd be bummed to hurt myself a week and a half before Painter's.

Dale, I don't know how often you've said that but I'll take any and all of the praise I can get. Thanks!

Last week when I took some days off the gamboo came back. Go figure.

Fly you are getting close to the end of your Half Mar training cycle, your supposed to be getting sick and tired of being tired....just hope you are able to kick the sickness thing before next week. Very nice speed workout.

Get feeling better soon Fly, I too have been feeling a bit lethargic this week. I'm hoping to snap out of it for Painter's. I may need you to push me, so get up to 100%. Enjoy your taper. I don't think I'm going to taper much since I'm supposed to be treating this like a training run for Boston. I probably will cut out my X training next week and call that tapering.
