11 miles.  1:29:55.  8:10 ave.  147bpm ave.  91F.  JRP out and back.

Stopped and wet my singlet at the golfcourse on the way out. When I was really starting to heat up on the way in I found a guy in his back yard watering his tomatos (his back yard abuts the parkway).  I don't think he spoke English but after a few hand gestures he got a broad smile and let me have it.  A cold hose never felt so good!

Be careful of the hand gestures you are using. You are running in the heart of gang territory and they may be misinterpreted. Your running has been great. How are you feeling?

Nice effort.

Good point Andy. I guess I'm lucky he only had a hose in his hand.

Considering the miles, the stress at home (July 10th comment), and how hard I'm working after work I feel better than I could hope for.

Cal, I was out running at lunch, either side of noon. Not ideal, but I'm lucky I made it out at all.

NICE miles in the middle of the day and week and scorching temp. Are you sure you're not training for Badwater?

Shade is your friend. I feel your pain, Mark. Very cool letting the guy spray you with his hose..I'm sure you made his day!

I can't believe you can run in that kind of heat for that long at that pace. Amazing!!

When will life settle down a bit for you?

Seriously ... great job!
