9 miles with 10x100m intervals on the Jordan River Parkway.  I felt kind of tired but at least I got it done.  A good headwind made running back feel cold and slow.  Ave pace 8:30, 147 bpm.

8:30 is an easy pace for you? I guess I really am slow.

From Smooth on Mon, Feb 09, 2009 at 21:59:47

Nice run with those intervals thrown in. Yeah, your easy pace is faster than my race pace.

Yuck, running back into a headwind bites. I much perfer running out into the headwind that way your not all sweaty when you run into the wind. Great run in bad conditions.

My 5k race pace is slower than ez for many runner's around here. I guess it is all relative. I bet Kathie and Smooth always finish with a higher placing in there respective lady age groups than I do.

Rhett, Yuck is right. I'd much rather start with the head wind, but really the conditions weren't too bad. And today (Tuesday the headwind was on the way out :)

Hey Fly...I made it over here. Now that you've qualified for NYC, are you going to run it?

From fly on the wall on Thu, Feb 12, 2009 at 13:56:38

I will run NYC but I don't know when. We already have planned a family trip to Yellowstone in the summer and a trip to Baja next winter. So NYC may not be in the cards this year.
