Did not wear my Garmin but on the way back I ran with the fast guy so the pace was brisk.

Sounds like you're all recovered. What's next?

I wish I could run with the fast guy, probably couldn't keep up though. Glad your back at it.

I'm too Garmin dependent to run without mine. I don't know if you're the same and had to force yourself to run without data. Anyway, good job.

I'm sure he said the same thing!

Welcome back, Fly.

I kind of like running without my Garmin. It doesn't match my shoes.... uh I mean it's nice not to think about pace and distance all of the time.

Next will be my work's 5k.

From Kathie on Thu, May 07, 2009 at 12:46:27 from 207.155.176.10

I can not look at mine while I run but I want the data after. I guess I just want to verify that I worked as hard as it felt.

Thanks Mark. I'm all self conscious now. Where will I find a pink garmin in Iraq?

From Teena on Thu, May 07, 2009 at 17:48:58 from 67.177.20.13

Fly ... you ARE THE FAST GUY!!!!

Hmmm ... maybe you should start inventing and selling "skins" for Garmins!! :)

From fly on the wall on Thu, May 07, 2009 at 18:54:44 from 168.179.215.242

Today I wanted to wear my Garmin but it wasn't in my gym bag.

Monte & Tina, I've given this some serious thought and more classy than a pink Garmin or pink Garmin skin would be wrapping your Garmin in fluorescent pink duct tape. You can get it here and I bet they ship to Iraq. - http://www.findtape.com/shop/product.aspx?id=341&bc=F&setscreen=1&width=902&height=0

Tina, I think I'll make it a goal for my work's 5k to finish within 4 minutes behind the fast guy.
