Ran on the Jordan River Parkway northward to the southern end of the Legacy Parkway trail.  It was a nice day and I had a nice run.  For the first 9 miles I kept my pace between 7:50 and 8:30 largely dependent upon trail conditions.  Then I did some intervals.

9 ez

5x 1/4mile with 1/8 mile recovery.  Pace ranged from 6:07 to 6:15, 168 to 169 bpm

0.5 mile cool down.

The inversion is building.  Pray for wind.

Oh it looked so great out there today! I hope it is still clear on Saturday! Are you following a training plan or just doing what feels good? I know your next race is Dam to Dam right.

Nice run there with some intervals to boot. Yeah, the weather was nice today. I did see some haze building up. Windy tomorrow would be nice for good air on Sat. long run.

The Dam to Dam 5 Miler is next but I'm not training for it. I'll just run it for joy and to complete the Runner's Series.

I'm thinking the Bonneville Shoreline Trail Marathon might be next. I will train for it but I only hope to finish happy and strong. Alternatively I might do the Salt Lake and/or Ogden half.

I want to shoot for sub 3 at St. George this year, so I'm thinking I won't kill myself till that training cycle begins.

But then again, who knows what the year will bring?
