The air is getting thick.  When I left for my run the state DAQ web page said we were just below the hold your breath threshold.  When I came back we were just above.  EPA says we are above.  The pollution is increasing with no end in sight.  Pray for wind!  I'm not sure where or when I'll run next.

Ok ... this one thing I don't miss about SLC ... that thick air is horrid.

Don't tell me that! I wanted to do 14 on Saturday and I am not going to do it on the treadmill.

Last year I ran a lot more outside during the winter and had a TON of asthma problems.

So far this winter I have done the bulk of my running on the treadmill and my asthma is completely under control! :)

Stinky air!

Nice run!

Oh yeah ... WELCOME BACK! How was the trip?

Stupid pollution! Time to hit higher ground. How about Park City? I think I'll run in Alpine.

Bonnie, I do believe the air quality is the worst thing about living here.

Kathy, The updated forecast isn't as bad- http://www.airquality.utah.gov/

Teena, Breathing is a nice but I'm not sure it is worth running on a treadmill for. :)

Parts of my trip were great. Parts of my trip were perfectly tolerable.

Park City sounds great. I wish I had the time to dirve up there. :( Hmmm.... Maybe I do. We were just given a paid day off from work :), and an unpaid day off from work. :(

Yuck, I remember those gray winter days when I went to the Y, back when Geniva Steel was going.

Nothing but clean, clear, fresh air all year round here in Havasu.
