5 EZ miles, but I ran with coworkers including someone new to running

with us.  He is supper fast and my pace was faster than it would have

been otherwise.  I forgot to stop my Garmin but downwind pace was under

7 and upwind pace was about 7:20.  Wind 29 mph with gusts to 38 mph.  I

felt better than I should have considering my mileage this week.

Perhaps there is something to be said for peer pressure.  Hopefully I

won't be hurting tomorrow.

Wow..that's wind! Usually, when you run with the "new guy", you have to slow down a little. It'll be nice to have someone who can push you just a little harder. Nice pace.

He could run me into the ground without breaking a sweat. His indoor 5k PR is 14:24.

So if it was harder than you wanted why did you log it under easy miles?

hmmmmm.... I guess they weren't pace, threshold, or max miles either?

Sounds like your new training partner is going to push you to the limit. Now your going to be super smokin' fast.

14:24...Wow, that's elite speed! You can't help but get faster hanging around with that guy. When's your next 5K race??..a can't wait to hear how much you smash that PR by!
