6 recovery miles at o'dark thirty in the morning.

The training plan calls for a second 4 mile run this afternoon, but my body is telling me to rest.  I feel fatiqued, like I'm fighting a cold or something.  I binged on a 1/2 box of lemon cookies from the Girl Scouts.  I figure all that artificial lemony goodness should fix what ever ails me, right?  They're from the Girl Scouts, so they've got to be good.  Mmmmm..... natural and artificial flavor....  They even have "TBHQ for freshness!"

I'm sure that TBHQ is great for runners. After all, it does have BQ in it. I think it stands for Training for Boston? Helps Qualifying or something like that.

Very funny!!! I LOVE Girl Scout cookies! Yes, they're GOOD for you! What training plan are you following?

I'm using Pfitz's (sp?) 12 week, 70 mile plan.

Thanks for decoding TBHQ Rhett!

Yeah the bake all the bad stuff out of them. Those girl scouts just know what to keep and what not to. I have only 3 boxes to get co-workers to help me with.

Gotta love those Girl Scout cookies. Only half a box? Rookie! :)

That 1/2 a box was just a warm up. I've pollished off 3 boxes in 2 days! Yee gads, I'm a pig. Luckily I only have 1 box left.
