This morning I felt tired and thought about skipping this run but in the afternoon felt better.  So I ran after work.  I kept an ez pace.  Felt OK during and good after the run.  8:24, 134bpm ave.

15 miles that is a lot mid week right? Well I guess it is a lot for me.

Pfitzinger calls it a MRL (medium long run). I call it a mid-week LONG run. GREAT RUN! I don't know how you have the energy to run AFTER work. Do you drink/eat in a 15 miler?

15 miles without a recovery day after the speed work is tough. I never do 2 hard runs in a row, but then again I just make up my own training and maybe if I followed some plan that actually was developed by someone who knew a lot more about running than I do, then I would be faster.

Nice pace and nice, low HR. Sounds like you're doing just fine. I hope you're taking a rest day before your race on Saturday, right?

I'm such a ditz...I was responding to the wrong Mark. That's a normal HR and easy pace for you, Fly!

I carried a Camel Bak fanny pack with water and had a gel.

Marc, What makes that funny is that you are also Mark.

I get up to 134 bpm just brushing my teeth. You're as fit as a fiddle. In my defense, the brushing is rather vigorous.
