7:56, 143 bpm ave.  Still feeling kind of sick but I'm not sure why or what it is....

The Jordan River trail is again closed due to construction (paving) so I made a 1 mile detour through nice tree lined streets in Rose Park, but to get back to the trail I have to run past a stinky waste water treatment plant, a refinery tank farm, and other lovely sights.  Oh well, at least it looks like they are actually working on the trail and not just thinking about it.

Nice run. Hopefully it is just some mild allergies or something.

I love the way smells get to you more when you run. My usual long run route has me run by a bakery and what should smell really good just makes me want to gag! So I can't imagine running by those sticky places!

Kathie, running by "sticky" places doesn't usually get to me, but stinky places are not so nice.

I imagine the bakery to be both sticky and stinky.

Have you ever been to Gilgal Gardens in Salt Lake? It's a very interesting sculpture garden and it is right behind the Wonder bakery. The smells are as odd as the art.
