5miles: 32:10 Dam 2 Dam in 2009.  Master's winner.

5k: 20:00:00  19:54 in May 2010.

2008:  Ran the Slam + Boston

Left the office at a slow pace and not feeling great, not really bad either...  Turned around after 3 miles and headed back.  Then I saw the fast guy headed out.  We passed, he continued on, turned around, and then caught back up to me.  At that point he was breathing hard.  We ran the last couple miles in together during which his breathing returned to normal while mine escalated.  Here is my pacing:  9:03, 8:47, 8:53, 8:40, 7:00, 6:35 followed by a bit of a cooldown.  Speed is relative.

Wow the fast guy really pushed you! Question: does he know you call him the "fast guy"?

Hmmm... I'm not sure if he does or not. We talk about how he is fast but I don't know if I've said, "I call you the Fast Guy." He is truly a fast runner. I believe he set records at USU and maybe in the WAC.
