A 10 day delay in posting my race report is indicative of my lackadaisical attitude toward running.  I still enjoy running but have no motivation to focus on it.  Maybe this is a more rounded and healthier way to live anyway?

I enjoyed seeing Tina, Smooth (and Larry), Brad, RAD, Kelli, Mel, and other bloggers who I don't even know their names. And I enjoyed the marathon!  I started slow and finished slower.  I was still tired by the end of the race but not spent or miserable.  I finished thirsty and should have taken more fluids but I hate having to stop to pee....  After finishing I downed a bunch of chocolate milk and overly colorful cold drinks.  Then I was ready to drive home and take a nap, and that is just what I did.

No recovery needed for this race.  I didn't even walk down the stairs funny on Sunday or Monday.

My time was 3:40:03, about 12 minute slower than last time I ran Park City and the Slam.

Now..... should I plan and train for St. George or just cruise???????

Laah-dee-daah!!! :) :) :) :)

I hear ya on the rounded and healthier way to live, with emphasis on the "rounded", hehehe! :) :) :)

GOOD JOB enjoying the PCM. You have to admit that the fun part was seeing us and fellow FRBrs whom you don't even know their names! C'mon, admit it! :)

Smooth, Of course that was the funnest part. I kept leap frogging with two younger women who apparently knew you and Larry and maybe Kelli?(they were talking loud enough that I kept overhearing bits of their conversation). I assumed they were FRBrs but I couldn't find either of their race reports. One finished ahead of me and the other behind me. Any idea who they are?

From Smooth on Tue, Aug 28, 2012 at 16:06:43 from 75.165.251.74

Yes, Wendy Clark and Emily Hansen. They were in my ward, moved out but still live very close. They along with their husbands are doing the Slam for the first time this year. Very nice people, great runners and friends. They're not on FRB. I think I introduced you and Maynard to Eric Hansen and Matt Clark in the hotel lobby just before heading to the start! :)
