It seemed hot to me. I was surprised that it was only in the 80 range... all a matter of perspective i guess.

nice distance.

80 in spring is deadly hot.

80 during the dog days of summer is a pleasant reprieve.

A matter of perspective and acclimation I suppose.

You're an animal!!! I don't deal with heat very well, never have. I guess it would help if I wouldn't keep my house so cold.

Nice mid-week miles. I wonder if your 80 degrees is like my 80 degrees?

Dale, At what temp do you keep your house? Our house has no AC and I see no need for it. The evaporative cooler keeps it plenty cool for us. My office is between 73 and 75 which is plenty cool for me, actually I need to put my coat on. I think we do acclimatize to warmer or cooler temps.

Marc, I'm thinking your 80 is nothing like our 80. Yesterday our 80 was with 19% humidity- perfectly pleasant!

Sadly, I've become spoiled with Central Air in the house. All my life we always had an evaporative cooler. I admit, I waste a lot of electricity running the thing. The good news is it's almost out of coolant, which is now illegal to use. Once that runs out, we are going to get another evaporative cooler and stick it on the hous.

Dale, It's a good time to buy either a swamp or higher efficiency AC. There are some good rebates from Rocky Mountain Power.
