16.25 slow on BST.  Trail was in pretty good shape.  My legs were a bit tired.  I had better take it easy before next Saturday's 50k.

Nice run!!! I need to check out the BST up here. Hey, are you running the Buffalo Run 50k next weekend?

From Maynard on Sat, Mar 20, 2010 at 15:56:01 from 71.213.25.67

Now that's the kind of run I was looking to have this morning--3 hours and somewhere in the neighborhood of 16 miles. Smooth and Kathie had other plans...

What's the elevation profile for your local section of the BST look like?

From Kathie on Sat, Mar 20, 2010 at 16:16:08 from 63.248.105.188

Nice run I am looking forward to reading your race report!

I am running the Buffalo Run next weekend. How about you Mr. Gardinero?

The elevation profile looks like hills, lots of hills. Sort of the opposite of a shoreline!

From Smooth on Sat, Mar 20, 2010 at 17:02:48 from 174.23.198.220

Mark, NICE 3 hours trail run!!!!

GOOD LUCK next week!

From DonGardinero on Sat, Mar 20, 2010 at 19:32:06 from 75.162.174.57

I was actually planning on doing one of the shorter run, but I forgot to register on time.

I ran an Xterra race out on Antelope Island a couple of years ago and the hills seemed steep to me, but then again, it was back when I never did any hill work. I'm sure you'll do great. You might even win the race.

I'm considering running the Triple Trail Challenge this year since I will be running PC anyway. But I might have to put it off until next year. That would put too many marathons, too close together. The first would be the Jupiter Peak Steeplechase. Two weeks later, PCM. Three weeks after that, the Mid Mountain Marathon. A week after that TOU and then SGM. I just made up my mind. I'll wait until next year when I'm not doing the Slam.

I can't wait to hear about the Buffalo Run. I bet you rock it.

From fly on the Wall on Sun, Mar 21, 2010 at 23:34:25 from 166.70.192.189

Dale, Bummer about not signing up. It would have been nice to see you. (I will be thrilled to just finish this race!)

As for the Triple Trail Challenge, sounds like a prudent plan to delay to next year.

Thanks Rhett.

I just bought a new race shirt.... Blue pineapple print with coconut shell buttons. I wonder what the weather will be?

Perhaps next year will be the year when I do the Buffalo Run and the Triple Trail Challenge.

Hey, maybe my family and I will come hang out on Antelope Island next Saturday.

I would offer to pace you, but I don't think I could keep up with you, even after you've run 20 0r 25 miles.

From MarcE on Mon, Mar 22, 2010 at 00:32:03 from 206.225.68.121

Good luck to you (and Maynard) next weekend at the Buffalo 50K. Can't wait to hear your report.

From fly on the Wall on Mon, Mar 22, 2010 at 20:18:10 from 168.179.215.137

Dale, If you make it out there, be sure to make yourself known to me. If I see you after 25 miles that may require a slap upside my head :)

Thanks Marc

I shall do my best. It'll be kinda difficult since I have no idea what you look like. Every picture I've seen of you, your face is turned just enough so that I can't see your face. Maybe if you get your race bib early enough, you can post it on here and I'll look for you that way.
