A few miles in the city then trail.  Downtown, BST to the U and back home.

Awesome run!!! By the way, I keep forgetting, what is your next race?

From fly on the Wall on Sat, May 08, 2010 at 10:15:18 from 166.70.192.189

Dale, I signed up for the Wahsatch Steeplechase. You should run it also, if you can fit it in.

What about that 5K on Wednesday? Mark, I know you could go sub 20:00 any time you want...I think you're waiting until you can jump straight to the 18:00's?? How you feeling about Wednesday?

From fly on the Wall on Sat, May 08, 2010 at 23:31:39 from 166.70.192.189

I don't know Marc. I find it so much harder to run fast than far. I'll see what I can do on Wednesday, but I'm not holding my breath for a sub-20. Some day maybe I'll train again for a 5k. I'm sure I could benefit greatly from speed work rather than 4 hour trail runs.

I took Saturday off and hope to do a few miles with some pick ups on Sunday. Then some ez miles on Monday and Tuesday.

What's Wednesday? I am so out of the loop!!

Since when was a few casual miles 19+???? :)

Happy Mother's Day to your wife! :)

Yeah, I wanna know who says 19.5 miles in the city and trail run casual!?!!!

You da man!

From fly on the Wall on Mon, May 10, 2010 at 19:00:05 from 204.113.19.47

Hey wait a minute, I never said "casual." I said, "a few miles in the city then trail." I ran by our duplex to check on something then ran through downtown before hitting the trail. But I looked up 'casual' in Merriam-Webster and found, "done without serious intent or commitment ." Not sure how the second part is relevant to my run but the first part is. These miles were done without serious intent or commitment.

Wednesday is my work's lunch time 5k.

A belated happy Mother's Day to you Teena and Smooth.

From Smooth on Mon, May 10, 2010 at 19:20:28 from 174.23.172.155

Either way...19+ miles *without serious intent* all over the city then hitting the trail is oxymoron. You're a committed runner, we all know that!

GOOD LUCK on Wed's lunch time 5K. Sounds like a *casual* speed workout! Be sure to eat lunch AFTER the race, NOT before!

Thanks for the Mother's Day wish!
