Nice speed on those intervals. Interesting distances on the intervals...was it on a trail, track or road?

Nice speed work. It probably felt a lot different than all those crazy mountain runs you usually do. Marc - if he reported it in meters (1,000) it would not look as strange.

Ah.. :) I can usually only measure in multiples of 400 meters! :)

Are you sure those were shoes on your feet and not roller blades?!

My Garmin is set up for miles so that is what I've reported. But the distance is actually fortuitous as 1000m/ 0.62 miles is about how far I could run in 4 minutes when I started running on this course (we would do 4x4 minute repeats).

This course is a measured and marked (every 1/4) mile that was set up as part of Salt Lake's "Olympic Legacy." The course is on and adjacent to the Jordan River Parkway. It is crazy with turns and the only way to follow it is to memorize the map. It is a good thing we didn't do mile repeats because the numb nuts at our city parks department put a fenced dog part on the final 1/4 of the course. You now have to open and shut 3 dog gates to run the full mile.....

I don't know about fast but I'm ready as I'll ever be.....
