Up Provo River Trail on tired legs.

I did this run to get my training miles in even though my legs were heavy from yesterday's long run.  I started off sort of chugging along wondering how long I would last before feeling really tired.  Slog, slog, slog for a few miles.... but then who was that up ahead?  It looked kind of like Smooth?  Could it be?  It was!  Smooth saved me from a run of drudgery.  I ran with her and another blogger up until their turn around and this made me forget any fatigue and feel great.  After Smooth and company turned around I ran about another mile up to Vivian Park, used the facilities, and headed back down the canyon.  I even finished with an easy effort 7:07 paced mile!

Thanks for the boost Smooth.  I hope you did great in your training run race!

ave pace - 8:24.  Last mile at 7:07 pace, downhill with the wind at my back and feeling good.  :)

Thanks for saying hi this morning. Always fun to see you on the trail.

AH AH!!! I got it now. You were the guy in the red shirt! You did pass us and I was wondering if you were with our group (since you were in red). Then later I saw you with Smooth and I said, "Man, Smooth is so nice! She will just talk to anyone out there running!"

So, yep, at some point you saw me! Good to KIND OF meet you. Wish I had known it was you, I would have said hi!

Twinkies, When ever I randomly see you out running and say hello, I always wonder if you have any idea who I am or just think I'm some nut case. :) I guess you recognized me, nut case or not. :)

Kelli, ""Man, Smooth is so nice! She will just talk to anyone out there running!"" This is true. Case in point.

I wasn't with the group, just out for a run at the right place and time.

Had I been thinking I would have asked if you have fingerprints on your fridge full of cheese.

Nice run, especially after yesterday's long effort.

Seriously, I just freaked out today about that dang fridge!!!! And, true story, I was getting string cheese out of it when I freaked.

Smooth makes friends wherever she goes, this time she just happened to KNOW that friend.

Smooth is the cure-all!!! Seriously!!! :)

Glad you felt so good at the end.
